Dear Cedarhurst Staff,
Thank you for the lovely Thanksgiving Feast you planned and prepared for the residents and their families. The delicious food and festive atmosphere was a nice introduction to the holidays.
Though the pleasant surroundings and good food are a big part of the appeal at Cedarhurst, it is your friendly, caring staff that makes it a home to our loved ones.
Thanks again for all you do.

Dear Mr. Roderick:
We always seem to have the time to criticize when we are upset about something, but rarely take the opportunity to praise noteworthy exceptional performance. The purpose of this correspondence is to break that cycle.
My mother, Beulah, has been a resident of Cedarhurst of Shiloh Memory Care since its opening in April, 2011. As Beulah's court-appointed legal guardian I placed Beulah at Cedarhurst of Shiloh for a number of reasons. Foremost in my decision was the professional acumen and demeanor of Anne Larson, Executive Director, in my initial meeting with her in early December of 2010 when the facility was still under construction. I visited three other comparable facilities during that time, and if I had been looking for a place which merely met my mother's minimum requirements, I could have chosen any of those facilities. But I was searching for an environment where she would receive superior care and personal attention from people who chose to work there out of caring concern rather than simply passing time at a job. I was so impressed with Anne's professional vision of the caring environment Cedarhurst of Shiloh would provide, that I immediately knew that Cedarhurst was the right place for my mother.
I visit my mother at least four times each week and have had frequent interactions with many staff members. I want to personally thank Anne, her Assistant Director Almir Sajtovic, the nursing staff, Kelsey, Sarah, and Ericka, Dan in maintenance, the kitchen and food preparation staff and all the CNAs including Cindy, Allactia, Anthony, Jasper, “Benny” and April to name a few, and Kristen Reynolds, the Memory Care Activities Director.
I have personally observed that all employees, from Anne on down, go out of their way to minister to the special and dedicated needs of every memory care resident to keep them comfortable and engaged. Despite working in a very difficult and challenging environment, the staff is always courteous, patient and respectful in dealing with residents and their family members, and the atmosphere is always welcoming and cheerful. The staff always rises to the challenges inherent in dealings with each individual resident and always shows great initiative in adapting to changing situations and demands. Without exception, the staff members treat all residents with dignity, compassion and respect.
The personal care and attention my mother has received during her residency at Cedarhurst of Shiloh demonstrate clearly to me that she is at the absolute best place commensurate with her medical condition and I am convinced no better care is available elsewhere. Cedarhurst is clearly a “cut above” any other facility in the area due in large part to Anne and her chosen staff. It has been a pleasure to watch this facility develop from its infancy into a remarkable first-class residence for our elders in need. Anne and her staff clearly serve as ambassadors for Frontier Management and you can be justifiably proud of their accomplishments.
Sincerely,
Jimmy L. W.

Dear Almir and Anne,
Thank you for providing us with a beautiful and safe place to call home.
All the help are caring and efficient. Thanks for leaving the miniature lights on all over the lobby. It’s very cheerful. You think of everything.

Dear Anne & Associates,
Thank you for the gorgeous flower, and for attending daddy’s funeral.
The love and care he received at Cedarhurst enhanced and prolonged his last few months.
He was blessed to have all of you in his life, and so were my sister and me.
Fondly,
Marianne J
PS. If daddy would have known how “hot” all of you looked. You are a “beautiful” group of women, and I cannot thank all of you enough for the kindness you extend to us.
To all at Cedarhurst…
Thank you so much. You made my stay a very pleasant one.
